This Privacy Policy describes how Nature Design Clothing LLC d/b/a Helperr ("Helperr," "we," "us," "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information about you when you use the Helperr platform ("Platform"). By using the Platform you agree to the practices described in this Policy.

1.Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide Directly

When you use Helperr as a homeowner, we collect:

  • Full name
  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • Project address and ZIP code
  • Project description and photos you upload
  • Payment information (processed through Stripe — we do not store raw card numbers)
  • Your available times for estimate visits
  • Any messages you send through the Platform

When you use Helperr as a Pro, we collect:

  • Full legal name and business name
  • Phone number and email address
  • Service area address and coordinates
  • Trade category and years in business
  • Google Business Profile URL and imported review data
  • Work photos you upload
  • Profile photo
  • Bank account information for payouts (processed through Stripe — we do not store raw account numbers)
  • Your electronic signature, typed name, IP address, and device information collected at the time of signing agreements
  • Your workers' compensation election

1.2 Information We Collect Automatically

When you use the Platform we automatically collect:

  • IP address
  • Device type and operating system
  • Browser type and version
  • Pages visited and features used
  • Time and date of activity
  • Referring URLs

1.3 Information From Third Parties

We may receive information about you from:

  • Google Maps and Google Places API — when you enter an address we use Google's services to validate and geocode it
  • Google Business Profile — if you are a Pro and connect your GBP, we import your business name, rating, review count, and individual reviews
  • Stripe — we receive confirmation of payment status and payout status from Stripe

2.How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Create and manage your account
  • Match homeowners with Pros in their area
  • Process and disburse payments through Stripe
  • Send notifications about your projects, bids, messages, and bookings
  • Display your profile and reviews to homeowners (Pros only)
  • Calculate distances between job locations and Pro service areas
  • Import and display reviews from Google Business Profile (Pros only)
  • Process AI-assisted review imports from screenshots using the Anthropic API
  • Generate invoices and maintain transaction records
  • Enforce our Terms of Service and Subcontractor Platform Agreement
  • Investigate disputes and support requests
  • Improve and develop the Platform
  • Comply with legal obligations
  • Send you platform-related communications

We do not use your information to send unsolicited marketing communications without your consent.

3.How We Share Your Information

3.1 With Pros You Book

When you book a Pro, we share your name, phone number, project address, and project details with that Pro. Before booking, Pros can only see your project description, photos, ZIP code, and availability — not your name or contact information.

3.2 With Homeowners

When a homeowner books you, we share the homeowner's name, phone number, and full project address with you. Before booking, homeowners can only see your business name, trade, reviews, and profile information.

3.3 With Service Providers

We share information with third-party service providers who help us operate the Platform:

  • Stripe — payment processing and payout disbursement. Stripe's privacy policy governs their use of your payment information. Stripe is PCI-DSS compliant.
  • Google Maps Platform — address validation, geocoding, and distance calculation.
  • Google Places API — Google Business Profile review import for Pros.
  • Anthropic API — AI processing of review screenshots uploaded by Pros. Screenshots are sent to Anthropic's API for text extraction only. We do not send homeowner personal data to Anthropic.
  • Supabase — database and file storage hosting.

3.4 Analytics and Advertising (Future)

We may in the future use analytics tools such as Google Analytics or similar services to understand how the Platform is used, and advertising platforms such as Meta Ads or Google Ads to promote Helperr. When we add such tools we will update this Privacy Policy and, where required by law, obtain your consent. These tools may use cookies, pixels, or similar tracking technologies. You will be able to opt out of non-essential tracking through your browser settings or a cookie preference center we will make available at that time.

3.5 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required by law, subpoena, court order, or other legal process, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Helperr, our users, or the public.

3.6 Business Transfers

If Helperr is acquired, merged, or sold, your information may be transferred to the acquiring entity as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such transfer through the Platform.

3.7 What We Do Not Do

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not share your contact information with Pros before you book them. We do not use your information for purposes unrelated to operating the Platform without your consent.

4.Payment Data

All payment processing is handled by Stripe. Helperr does not store your full credit card number, bank account number, or other raw financial credentials. Stripe stores and processes this information in accordance with PCI-DSS standards. You can review Stripe's privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.

5.Photos and Uploaded Content

Photos you upload to describe your project are visible to Pros who view your job posting. Photos uploaded by Pros as work photos are visible to homeowners viewing that Pro's profile. Review screenshots uploaded by Pros are processed by the Anthropic API for text extraction and then stored on our servers.

By uploading any photo or content to the Platform you grant Helperr a non-exclusive royalty-free license to use display and reproduce that content in connection with operating and promoting the Platform as described in our Terms of Service.

6.Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Specifically:

  • Account information: retained for the duration of your account plus 3 years after closure
  • Transaction records and signed agreements: retained for 7 years to comply with Texas business record requirements
  • Project photos: retained for 2 years after project completion
  • IP address and device logs from agreement signatures: retained for 7 years
  • Messages: retained for 2 years after the related project is closed

7.Security

We implement commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. These measures include encrypted data transmission, access controls, and secure hosting through Supabase.

No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe your account has been compromised please contact us immediately at support@helperr.app.

8.Your Rights — Texas Residents

If you are a Texas resident, under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act you have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we collect about you
  • Access your personal information
  • Correct inaccurate personal information
  • Delete your personal information, subject to certain exceptions
  • Opt out of the sale of your personal information (we do not sell personal information)
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@helperr.app with the subject line "Privacy Request." We will respond within 45 days. We may need to verify your identity before processing your request.

9.Children

The Platform is not directed to children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 18 please contact us at support@helperr.app and we will promptly delete it.

10.Cookies and Tracking

The Platform currently uses essential cookies and local storage necessary for the Platform to function, including session tokens used to keep you logged in. We do not currently use non-essential tracking cookies or advertising pixels. When we add analytics or advertising tools in the future we will update this Policy and provide opt-out options as required by law.

11.Third-Party Links

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites including Google Business Profile pages. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.

12.Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated Policy on the Platform with a new effective date. If we make material changes we will notify you through the Platform or by email. Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date of any update constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
